Stretching

We tend to store tension in our bodies. One way to reduce this is to use progressive muscle relaxation to reduce your tension. In addition, you can also use stretches that you hold for a few minutes at a time. Yin Yoga includes a number of these types of stretches. The 10-minute video below shows you some of them. If you have any type of injury, ask your doctor before you do any exercises like this. Don’t do them if they cause you any pain. Try doing these stretches on both sides of your body.
